Culpeper Young Gardeners’ Club
Bring your little ones along to Culpeper to learn about gardening and get stuck in with the natural world!
The garden is launching a regular Saturday club for young budding gardeners. Children will learn how to grow plants from seed, how to make compost, the importance of animals in the soil, and will help our Gardeners to improve the varied wildlife habitats at Culpeper. We have a dedicated plot for the club in the allotment area where we will be growing flowers and our favourite vegetables. Our young gardeners will also have the opportunity to attend the Farms and Gardens Harvest Festival in September, including a camping overnight at Lambourne End.
This group is suitable for 4-12 year olds. Parents and carers must stay in the garden for the duration of the session and our community building will be available for parents to use.
Please contact the Garden Manager, Mandy (gardenworker@culpeper.org.uk), or call 0207 833 3951 for more details and to register if you would like your child to join the group.
This project is possible thanks to the generous support of Islington Council’s Community Chest: funded by Islington Council, in partnership with Cripplegate Foundation.
